The single shot electric fan relay kit was designed with not only the professional builder, but also the do-it-yourself mechanic in mind. These electric fan relays are easy to install and require less wiring than conventional dual or single setups. Installation time can be accomplished by most builders in several hours as opposed to several days. All units are all-in-one units, and you only need to worry about routing the wires and making the proper connections.
There are years of trial and error development into the production of these units and each unit comes with several heavy-duty relays with a long-life cycle compared to inexpensive online relays. Each relay can support up to 30 Amp draws per unit. Both single and dual relay packs feature air conditioning relays to trigger electric fans when the air conditioning is turned on, allowing the a/c system to function more efficiently and keep your engine cooler.
All circuits include one-way diodes to prevent back feed from various circuits that typically cause other electric issues as found with inexpensive relay kits or cause engine run-on. Relays can be wired and triggered in multiple ways including:
*Single ground trigger
*Single positive trigger
**Thermostatic switch triggers (positive or ground)
**Computer dual or single triggers (positive or ground)
**Or many other combinations possible. Ask prior to purchase if you have a specific setup for your vehicle.
All units include built-in fuses, diodes, a/c trigger relay, and fan indicator light wire. Wire directly to battery or add-in a heavy-duty circuit breaker for additional coverage (not included). Features (1) single 10g 48" power wire to power unit without splicing into other wires. All wire and enclosures are high heat and high flow to allow the unit to be installed in your engine bay (must be 24" away from headers or other extreme heat sources). Relays are heavy-duty but can be replaced with a common relay from an auto parts store.
